Both Elijah and Dan had a snow day last Thursday. There was a lot of ice at first, but then, we got 4 inches of snow. Light fluffy snow! The wind was howling, but we managed to get outside for a few minutes. I just love having older children. It makes me so incredibly happy to watch them play and make memories with their family.
Lazzy had been wearing my old glasses all morning. He wasn't about to take them off for sledding, either.
Dan was right in calling our snow day a "forced Sabbath". We needed this time together in the midst of a busy season.
