Go to bed!

Elijah has been really good about going to bed since he was 1 year old. He usually climbs right in, talks a bit and then stays asleep for the entire night. The funny thing is, I have NO idea how he manages to be so good about going to sleep. The boy constantly brings toys to bed, holding on to each one like it's his absolute favorite.

Currently, he sleeps with 7 stuffed animals, a clay snowman, a basketball, a football, a plastic mama cow, his digital clock, a play cookie, and his thrift store truck (which we tell him to leave on his side table, but it always ends up in his bed). The picture below does not do it justice.

I know that most parents (and Super Nanny) would tell you "No toys in the bed!". I actually agree with them, especially when it comes to children who get out of bed to play at night. But, Eli sleeps very well and only gets out of bed to go to the bathroom, so we figure, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
