Elijah Turns 4, Part 4 - The Actual Birthday

 Before the Partains left on Monday night, we enjoyed not one, but TWO epic water balloon fights!

On Elijah's actual birthday, we had a lazy morning together and it was wonderful. We started a new tradition where the birthday boy goes on a hunt for his presents. It was Elijah's idea but really helped me out because I had TOTALLY forgotten to wrap his gifts! We played the "hot/cold" game to help him find his presents and then spent the morning playing with all of his new dress up and airplanes.

We were all inspired by Elijah's new airplanes and decided to go fly our own at the Science center!

Elijah was the sweetest little birthday boy and earned all of his Mr. Potato Head pieces! It was so fun to eat left over ice cream cake while watching Lady and the Tramp on the living room floor. Over all, it was an awesome awesome day.
