Compost!

Compost!

Compost! is a new children's book about, well, composting! My dear friend Acadia Mcgee is the author and illustrator. But honestly, even if I didn't know her, I would still be promoting this book. It's cute, educational and fun to read. Elijah requests it often.

Like homebirth, composting is one of those subjects that just doesn't get brought up very often, especially in the children's section of the library. This book explains the process of composting in a way that kids can understand. Not only do they understand it, they want to create their own compost bin after the story is done. Consider it your own little motivation to begin that seemingly dirty task. Spring is here and so is gardening season. Get your kids involved. Even better, add it to the chore chart and make then do all the work!

Get Compost! here, on Amazon or on Kindle.

Like Acadia and Compost! on facebook and follow her blog about her own composting projects with her son Myles.
