Painting hearts

Eli was feeling a little shy in front of the camera, but I just had to capture his latest painting. He's been working on shapes. They usually turn out looking like large ovals with a few angles here and there. This time, he painted a heart! He was so proud shouting "Mama! I paint da heart! Come a look with your eyes!" using the same expression I use when I don't want him to touch anything at the art museum.

It's beautiful and just in time for Valentine's Day!
